Postdoctoral Affairs
Who is in charge of Biological Sciences Division (BSD) postdoctoral affairs?
Management of BSD postdoctoral affairs is divided between two offices: the Office of Academic Affairs and the BSD Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs.
The Office of Academic Affairs (OAA)
Issues of postdoc appointment and compensation are handled through the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA). OAA provides human resource services to academic units and administrative staff on a wide range of topics related to academic personnel management within the BSD. OAA works closely with other administrative units on campus such as the Office of the Provost, Office of Legal Counsel, Staff Benefits, Payroll Office, Medical Staff Office, etc. in order to provide timely and complete information about BSD academic human resource management.
